An additional four autos – including two convertibles, a 1957 limited edition fuel-injected Chevy, and a 1956 Nomad station wagon – will be on display next to the Futurliner #10. The collection of autos for the OKC Auto Show will include a row of 1950’s Chevys showing the evolution of those models from 1950 to 1958, another row of convertibles and a row of street rods. “There will be something for everyone, including several autos that are new to the show and an opportunity to see the Disney Pixar movie Cars on a drive-in movie screen while you walk around and look at classic cars.” “Visitors to the Oklahoma City Auto Show are always drawn to the autos from past eras and we wanted to provide an opportunity for them to see many of those same vehicles again,” Oklahoma City Auto Show Chairman Dale Daniels said. The Oklahoma City Auto Show will be held March 5-7 at Oklahoma State Park in the Bennett Event Center. A drive-in movie screen will feature the movie “Cars” at various times during the auto show. The 104 th anniversary of the Oklahoma City Auto Show will continue to have a Route 66 feel to it with dozens of autos from a variety of eras on display and a drive-in movie screen showcasing the Disney Pixar hit movie “Cars” starting next Friday in “The Re-creation of the Route 66 Drive-In!”įollowing up on last year’s Route 66 Road Trips Re-Creation, this year’s show will have 48 vehicles on display with autos dating back to the 1930’s. ![]()
